Choose one of the following ways to install the Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin in a modeling tool:
- Download and install the plugin directly via the Resource/Plugin Manager dialog in the modeling tool.
- Download the archived plugin file (.zip) and then install the plugin via the Resource/Plugin Manager dialog.
- Install the plugin manually, if direct download and installation via the Resource/Plugin Manager dialog are not available.
To download and install the Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin via the Resource/Plugin Manager dialog
- Start your modeling tool.
- From the modeling tool main menu, select Help > Resource/Plugin Manager. The Resource/Plugin Manager dialog opens and prompts you to check for the latest product updates and resources.
- Click Check for Updates > Check.
- Select the check box next to the the Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin and click Download/Install.
- Restart your modeling tool.
To install the Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin from the downloaded archive file (.zip) via the Resource/Plugin Manager dialog
- Start your modeling tool.
- From the main menu of the modeling tool, select Help > Resource/Plugin Manager.
- Click the Import button to specify the Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin file location. The plugin is extracted and installed automatically.
- Restart your modeling tool.
To install a plugin manually
- Download the Cameo Simulation Toolkit archived plugin file (.zip).
- Extract the downloaded file to the same directory where your modeling tool is installed.
- Start the modeling tool. The Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin is applied to your modeling tool.
