To work with a User Interface Modeling diagram

Do one of the following:

  • Click the User Interface Diagram button in the Diagram toolbar.
  • In the Model Browser, click either the Package or the Model. From their shortcut menu select Create Diagram > Other Diagrams > User Interface Modeling Diagram.

After loading a project and creating a diagram, you can add UI modeling elements to the diagram pane.


To add new elements to the User Interface Modeling diagram pane

  • Simply drag and drop the elements from the Text, Containers, Button, or Other toolbar.


To load a sample with an already created User Interface model

  1. Open either the UI Modeling Samples.mdzip or UI Modeling in System Development.mdzip projects, found in <modeling tool installation directory>\samples\diagrams\User Interface Modeling.
  2. After loading the sample, select the diagrams from the Index or Overview diagrams by clicking the hyperlinks.
