You can choose to start and stop your Teamwork Server instance either from the Graphical User Interface (GUI) or the terminal console (required for headless UNIX/Linux installations), using the no GUI file. Choose the startup instructions below according to your operating system.

OpenMagicDraw Teamwork Server installation\bin and double-click the teamwork_server.exe file.
We recommend starting the Teamwork Server as an administrator. Right click the teamwork_server.exe file. Select Run as administrator from the shortcut menu. |
The Teamwork Server default port is 1100. If you want to change the port, do the following:
The Teamwork Server exports remote objects only through the RMI registry port. |
In the command line, type the following command:
service teamwork stop |
If you do not have a graphical user interface such as a Linux/Unix server or Windows server, you can launch Teamwork Server using the No GUI option. Choose the startup/stop instructions below according to your operating system.

From PowerShell or the command terminal run:
$teamwork_install_dir/bin/teamwork_server_nogui.exe |
From the terminal run:
$teamwork_install_dir/bin/teamwork_server_nogui |
From PowerShell or the command terminal run:
$teamwork_install_dir/bin/stop_teamwork_server.exe |
In the command line, type the following command:
$teamwork_install_dir/bin/stop_teamwork_server.app |
In the command line, type the following command:
service teamwork stop |
Now you should be able to start working with your Teamwork Server successfully.
