A Metric suite is a collection of parameters and metric definitions used to calculate metrics that evaluate specific aspects of your model.
See the following figure for better understanding of the predefined metric suites hierarchy.
Actual Organizational Resources Covered by Actual Projects
The Metric Suite "Actual Organizational Resources Covered by Actual Projects" counts the percentage of the Actual Organization Resources covered by the Actual Projects in the particular package. The number of Actual Organization Resources, Actual Projects, and the coverage average are also counted.
Functions Covered by Resource Performers
The Metric Suite "Functions Covered by Resource Performers" counts the percentage of the Functions covered by the Resource Performers in the particular package. The number of Functions, Resource Performers, and the coverage average are also counted.
Actual Projects Covered by Milestones
The Metric Suite "Projects Covered by Milestones" counts the percentage of the Actual Projects covered by the Actual Milestones in the particular package. The number of Actual Projects, Actual Milestones, and the coverage average are also counted.
Actual Projects Covered by Actual Organizational Resources
The Metric Suite "Actual Projects Covered by Actual Organizational Resources" counts the percentage of the Actual Projects covered by the Actual Organization Resources in the particular package. The number of Actual Projects, Actual Organization Resources, and the coverage average are also counted.
Operational Activities Covered by Functions
The Metric Suite "Operational Activities Covered by Functions" counts the percentage of the Operational Activities covered by Functions in the particular package. The number of Operational Activities, Functions, and the coverage average are also counted.
Operational Activities Covered by Operational Performers
The Metric Suite "Operational Activities Covered by Operational Performers" counts the percentage of the Operational Activities covered by Operational Performers in the particular package. The number of Operational Activities, Operational Performers, and the coverage average are also counted.
Operational Performers Covered by Resource Performers
The Metric Suite "Operational Performers Covered by Resource Performers" counts the percentage of the Operational Performers covered by Resource Performers in the particular package. The number of Operational Performers, Resource Performers, and the coverage average are also counted.
Capabilities Covered by Actual Project
The Metric Suite "Capabilities Covered by Projects" counts the percentage of the Capabilities covered by the Actual Projects in the particular package. The number of Capabilities, Actual Projects, and the coverage average are also counted.
Capabilities Covered by Operational Activities
The Metric Suite "Capabilities Covered by Operational Activities" counts the percentage of the Capabilities covered by Operational Activities in the particular package. The number of Capabilities, Operational Activities, and the coverage average are also counted.
Capabilities Covered by Capability Configuration
The Metric Suite "Capabilities Covered by Capability Configuration" counts the percentage of the Capabilities covered by Capability Configurations or Physical Architectures in the particular package. The number of Capabilities, Capability Configurations or Physical Architectures, and the coverage average are also counted.
Capabilities Covered by Operational Performers
The Metric Suite "Capabilities Covered by Operational Performers" counts the percentage of the Capabilities covered by Operational Performers in the particular package. The number of Capabilities, Operational Performers, and the coverage average are also counted.
Requirement Coverage (Treat Owner As Requirement)
Metric suite tracks requirements coverage with design - checks incoming satisfy relations and requirements coverage with test cases - checks incoming verify relations.
Each requirement is treated as separate element:
- If the grouping requirement has incoming satisfy relation, its child requirements are not treated as covered unless they have incoming satisfy relations.
- The same thing applies in the opposite direction. If all child requirements have incoming satisfy relation grouping, the requirement is not treated as satisfied unless it also has an incoming satisfy relation.
Requirement Coverage (Treat Owner As Grouping Element)
Metric suite tracks requirements coverage with design - checks incoming satisfy relations and requirements coverage with test cases - checks incoming verify relations.
Grouping requirement is not treated as independent requirement:
- If the grouping requirement has incoming satisfy relation, its child requirements are treated as covered independent of whether have they incoming satisfy relations or not.
- The same thing applies in the opposite direction. If all child requirements have incoming satisfy relation, then the grouping requirement is treated as satisfied.
