This is the default Magic Systems of Systems Architect and Cameo Enterprise Architect configuration. All functionalities are available in expert mode. |
Software Architect | This perspective is dedicated to Software Architect, Designer, Interface Designer, and Database Designer roles that design and implement the project. All functionalities are available in expert mode. |
System Analyst | This perspective is a set of roles primarily dedicated to eliciting requirements and modeling the system. Analysis features are highlighted. Code engineering, transformations, and other non-related features are hidden. |
System Engineer | This perspective provides features dedicated to System Engineers. SysML support is accessible. Requirements elicitation and modeling features are highlighted. UML modeling features, code engineering, transformations, and other non-system-modeling-related features are hidden. |
TOGAF Architect | This perspective provides features for TOGAF Architects. The role is responsible for defining business architecture. Code engineering, transformations, extensions, and other non-related features are hidden. |
UAF Architect | The perspective provides features dedicated to UAF Architects with all the UAF products available. UML modeling features, code engineering, transformations, and other non-UAF-related features are hidden. |
EA-BPMN Architect* | This perspective provides features dedicated to Enterprise and IT Architects with the essential elements for this area: capabilities, requirements, operational behaviors (with BPMN), resources (hardware, software, facilities), data, and personnel. The user interface is simplified; advanced UAF elements and diagrams are hidden. |
Zachman Framework | This Quick Start perspective provides basic features dedicated to modeling and not an overpopulated interface for quick learning. Code engineering, transformations, and other advanced features are hidden but easily accessible in the expert mode of this perspective. |
Customize | Open the Customize Perspectives dialog to customize the selected perspective. You can make your tool interface less complicated by hiding irrelevant features or commands. For example, you can group functional features, and show, or hide selected commands. |
