The Standards Taxonomy Table (A8) provides all the available technical and non-technical standards, guidances, and policies.


To add a new Protocol, Protocol Stack, or Standard in the Standards Taxonomy table

  1. In the table toolbar, click the Add New button and choose Protocol, Protocol Stack, or Standard. A new row is added.
  2. Double-click the cells to enter a Name, Definition, and URI for the Protocol, Protocol Stack, or Standard.


To add an existing standard in the Standards Taxonomy table

  1. In the diagram toolbar, click the Add Existing button.
  2. In the Select Standard dialog, choose the desired Protocol, Protocol Stack, or Standard.
  3. Double-click the cells to enter a Name, Definition, and URI for the Protocol, Protocol Stack, or Standard.
